Bandera Ranch PUD Amendment

Posted in News

On October 13, 2022, the City Council approved a land use request by Killen, Griffin, Farrimond, PLLC (the “Applicant”) which established the Bandera Ranch Planned Unit Development (PUD), a mixed-use commercial and residential project. The project site is located at 15030 Bandera Road and is better known as the property at the intersection of Bandera Road (S.H. 16) and Scenic Loop Road, across from QuikTrip.  The Bandera Ranch PUD consists of retail buildings fronting Bandera Road (S.H. 16) and single-family-like home rentals behind the retail spaces, along Scenic Loop Road.

After detailed studies on the site, the Applicant is requesting to amend the residential site plan of the Bandera Ranch PUD. The amendments modify the unit mix, increase the setbacks along Scenic Loop Road/Northwest property line, and increase the green space. The requested amendments do not change the original 230 residential unit count, terms, or conditions. Amendments to approved PUD plans are allowable by the City Code; however, they must be approved by the City Council upon review by City Staff and recommendations from the Planning & Zoning Commission.

The application requesting the Bandera Ranch PUD Amendments is provided below. The purpose of this posting is to be informative. The application will be placed on the Planning & Zoning Commission Agenda (11/14/2023) and on the City Council Agenda (12/14/2023) for consideration. These meetings are open to the public. An item report by City Staff will be available when the Agendas are posted. Agendas are posted at least 72 hours prior to the date of the meeting.
