The Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 12951 Bandera Road, Helotes, Texas 78023 to receive public comments on a land use request by MN&O Investment Group, LLC, for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) establishing Trailhead at Helotes, a proposed mixed-use commercial and residential project on property zoned General Business District (B-3), located on Bandera Road (S.H. 16), between Grace Church Helotes and Happy Paws Boarding & Grooming.
The City Council will hold a Public Hearing on the same request on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 12951 Bandera Road, Helotes, Texas 78023.
The Trailhead at Helotes PUD consists of three tracts of land identified as BCAD Property ID Nos. 242100, 1097255, and 242130 – All together, the three tracts total about 21.7 acres. The proposed PUD intends to have retail fronting Bandera Road and single-family residential units for rent behind the retail, abutting the Helotes Park Estates Subdivision. A total of 220 residential units are proposed and will be no greater than two stories in height. The overall project site plan has approximately 6 acres dedicated to commercial and about 15 acres of residential use.
