Public Hearings on Zoning Classification

The City of Helotes will hold public hearings to give all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on a request by CSW Shaenfield, LP to set the official zoning classification as General Business District (B-3) for 6.714 acres of newly annexed property on Shaenfield Road, near its intersection with FM 1560. The annexed property abuts an existing CVS Pharmacy Store and is described as:

Tract 1: 2.432 acres +/- out of the Manuel M. Musquiz Survey No. 80, Abstract 467, in Bexar County, Texas, BCAD Property Tax ID No. 236168; and

Tract 2: 4.45 acres +/- out of the Manuel M. Musquiz Survey No. 80, Abstract 467, in Bexar County, Texas, BCAD Property Tax ID No. 236169.

 

The public hearings will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 12951 Bandera Road, Helotes, Texas 78023, on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. – Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting
  • Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. – City Council Meeting

 

The subject property was annexed at the City Council Meeting held on January 23, 2025. The requested zoning classification of General Business District (B-3) is compatible with the existing commercial use in that area. An item report by City Staff will be available when the Agendas are posted to consider this item. Agendas are posted at least 72 hours before the date of the meeting.
