The City of Helotes will hold public hearings to give all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on a request by L&F-1, LLC to set the official zoning classification as Single Family Residential District (R-1) for 10.016 acres of newly annexed property being the future Bricewood Subdivision Unit-6A, generally located on Galm Road, and described as:
An approximate 5.358-acre tract of land out of the M.M.Y Musquiz Survey No. 80, Abstract No. 467, County Block 4450 and being out of a 100 acre tract of land designated as the westernmost one-half portion of section five (5) as described by deed in Volume 6591, Page 259, in the Official Public Records of Bexar County, Texas, BCAD Property Tax ID No. 236310; and
An approximate 4.658-acre tract of land out of the M.M.Y Musquiz Survey No. 80, Abstract No. 467, County Block 4450, and being out of a 100 acre tract of land designated as the westernmost one-half portion of section five (5) as described by deed in Volume 6591, Page 259, in the Official Public Records of Bexar County, Texas, BCAD Property Tax ID No. 236313.
The public hearings will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 12951 Bandera Road, Helotes, Texas 78023, on the following dates:
- Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. – Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting
- Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. – City Council Meeting
The subject property was annexed at the City Council Meeting held on July 11, 2024. The requested zoning classification of Residential District (R-1) is consistent with the R-1 zoning classification in that area. An item report by City Staff will be available when the Agendas are posted to consider this item. Agendas are posted at least 72 hours before the date of the meeting.
