Important Microchip Alert
If your pet has a microchip from Save This Life Microchip Registry (STL), please be aware that STL has unexpectedly shut down. Their database is no longer linked to national registries, meaning pets with STL chips are currently untraceable if lost.
This affects pets with chip numbers starting with 991 or 900164, putting many animals at risk.
To help, BuddyID is offering free registration of STL microchips in their system now through February 28, 2025. Transferring your pet’s microchip ensures they remain protected and traceable.
