CPS Energy will begin tree trimming efforts starting Monday, December, 18.
As we transition into a season characterized by windy climates, rainy days, and stormy weather, the vulnerability of tree limbs to damage becomes increasingly apparent. The ramifications of a fallen or broken tree limb extend beyond the immediate aesthetics of the landscape, as they can compromise the integrity of power lines, leading to consequential power outages.
Commencing on Monday, December 18, CPS Energy will initiate a comprehensive tree-trimming project. This proactive initiative aims to mitigate potential risks by ensuring that tree limbs are carefully trimmed to eliminate any proximity to or contact with power lines, thereby enhancing the resilience of the electrical infrastructure.
