Online Public Meeting Notice Helotes Creek Gravity Main and Lift Station #246 Elimination- Sewer Project

San Antonio Water System (SAWS) will hold a meeting to discuss the construction and timing details of the Helotes Creek Gravity Main and Lift Station #246 Elimination Project. Join (SAWS) online to learn more on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 6 p.m. saws.org/outreach The Helotes Creek Gravity and Lift Station #246 Elimination Project will construct approximately 14,700 feet of 6-inch to 18-inch sewer main along State Highway 16 (Bandera Road), Old Bandera Road, Riggs Road, and F.M. 1560. The project was awarded for construction in October 2022. Construction is expected to begin in February 2023 and be completed by December 2024. While construction is being carried out by an independent contractor, SAWS inspectors regularly visit the site to ensure progress and compliance with all regulations and codes. Residents will be notified before any scheduled disruption to the water or sewer service, and these should be minimal. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during these needed improvements.
