Soliciting in the City of Helotes

The City of Helotes allows permitted individuals under the City of Helotes Ordinance Chapter 62, to go door-to-door to sale or promote a commercial service or business to residents at their homes. Solicitors must apply and receive a permit through the Helotes Police Department prior to soliciting within the City.

Soliciting is permitted between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. If a solicitor has an appointment or invitation by the resident or occupant, then a permit is not required.

Permitted solicitors will be provided with the Helotes Do Not Disturb List. Solicitors are not allowed to visit the residences included within the list.
