Sign Variance Permit

Please complete the following Sign Variance Application for all signage projects within the City of Helotes and its Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ).

This is a City of Helotes application and should only be submitted if the project is located within the City of Helotes jurisdiction. Applicants are responsible for verifying if an address is located within the City or its ETJ. Find the property on the Bexar County Appraisal District's website at www.bcad.org to confirm permitting jurisdiction before submitting this application. Refunds will not be given for applications submitted that are outside of the City of Helotes jurisdiction. The applicant should also ensure that all information provided on the application is correct before submitting it. Applications can take up to 10 business days to process. Applications that require Planning & Zoning Commission approval must be submitted at least 15 business days prior to the proposed meeting date.
