Food Establishment License

Please complete the following Food Establishment License Application for all businesses located within the City of Helotes. 
 
This is a City of Helotes application and should only be submitted if the project is located within the City of Helotes jurisdiction. Applicants are responsible for verifying if an address is located within the City. Find the property on the Bexar County Appraisal District's website at www.bcad.org to confirm permitting jurisdiction before submitting this application. Refunds will not be given for applications submitted that are outside of the City of Helotes jurisdiction. The applicant should also ensure that all information provided on the application is correct before submitting it. Applications can take up to 10 business days to process.

Note: All food establishment licenses expire on May 31st of each year. Licenses are non-transferable. The City of Helotes must be notified of any changes made to any information given on this application.

I acknowledge that this application may take up to 10 business days to process, and that the City of Helotes Development Service Dept. will contact me regarding any permit, permit number, or permissions granted for this application, including payment.

In the case of a general store, only the basic fee of $170.60 is required.  Regardless of the number of employees at the store, please input 1 in the Number of Employees field above.
