HPD in the Community

The men and women of the Helotes Police Department enjoy visiting with citizens and the public. Some of the ongoing programs of Team Helotes include:

Attending local schools to teach children about public safety issues and the importance of physical fitness
Participation in National Night Out events
No Shave November when officers will raise funds for special nonprofits while promoting cancer awareness
Participation in area events with other law enforcement personnel or first responders (i.e., skills-based events, charity fitness events, and more)
