The City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed extension of the Helotes municipal boundaries through the voluntary annexation of two parcels of land totaling approximately 10.016 acres and being the future Bricewood Subdivision Unit-6A. The land is described as:
- A 5.358-acre tract of land out of the M.M.Y Musquiz Survey No. 80, Abstract No. 467, County Block 4450, Tax ID No. 236310 in Bexar County TX; and
- A 4.658-acre tract of land out of the M.M.Y Musquiz Survey No. 80, Abstract No. 467, County Block 4450, Tax ID No. 236313, in Bexar County TX.
A public hearing will be held to give all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on the proposed voluntary annexation. The hearing will be held in the City Hall Council Chambers, 12951 Bandera Road, Helotes, Texas 78023, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.
The voluntary annexation is contiguous to the current city limits of Helotes, in the City’s exclusive Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ). An item report by City Staff will be available when the City Council Agenda is posted to consider this item. Agendas are posted at least 72 hours before the date of the meeting.
