Make Your Voice Heard!

The general elections are fast approaching – do you know how you’ll make your voice heard? Whether you’re planning to vote in person, by mail, or have questions about how to participate, we have resources to support you:

Registration: Check your registration status HERE. Register by Monday, October 7 to ensure your vote is counted on November 5.

Absentee/By Mail Ballot: You can request your absentee or vote by mail ballot HERE. Ensure it is mailed to the Bexar County Elections Early Voting Clerk by Friday, October 25.

Sample Ballot: View the generic sample ballot HERE. Find your individual sample ballot by using the Bexar County Elections Voter Registration Check.

Identification Requirements: Find the 7 acceptable forms of photo ID HERE.

Early Voting: The early vote period in Texas is Monday, October 21 – Friday, November 1. Helotes City Hall is an early vote center; however, registered Bexar County voters can visit any early vote center to cast their vote. Access the early voting calendar HERE.

Election Day Voting: Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. Polls will be open from 7 AM to 7 PM. Helotes City Hall is an election day vote center; however, registered Bexar County voters can visit any election day vote center to cast their vote. Electioneering at Helotes City Hall

Each candidate or group wishing to electioneer at City Hall must request an electioneering space before the voting period starts (early and election day). Spaces shall be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. If the voting period is underway, and spaces are still available, the candidate/group will be provided an electioneering space request form.
